How to Crop a PDF

Cropping a PDF lets you trim unwanted margins and focus on the content that matters. Enter the crop box coordinates (X, Y, Width, Height) in points to define the visible area.

What are the standard page sizes?
A4 is 595 x 842 points. US Letter is 612 x 792 points. Use these as reference points for your crop box.
Does cropping delete the content outside the crop area?
No, cropping sets the visible area but the content may still exist in the file. Use our Redact PDF tool to permanently remove content.
Can I crop different pages to different sizes?
Currently, the same crop box is applied to all pages. Support for per-page cropping is coming soon.
How do I know what crop values to use?
Start with conservative values and preview the result. The coordinates are from the bottom-left corner of the page.
Can I undo a crop?
Yes, re-upload the original file and apply a different crop. The original file is never modified.
