OrizPDF is committed to protecting your privacy. Our PDF tools are designed with privacy as a core principle — all processing happens entirely in your web browser using WebAssembly and JavaScript. Your files never leave your device.
Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
- PDF files or documents you process
- Personal information (no accounts, no registration)
- Usage analytics or tracking cookies
- IP addresses or device fingerprints
How Our Tools Work
All PDF operations (merge, split, compress, convert, etc.) run entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript libraries including pdf-lib, pdfjs-dist, and Tesseract.js. No data is sent to any server for processing.
AI Summarizer Exception
The AI Summarizer tool uses Puter.js to provide AI-powered document analysis. When you use this feature:
- Text extracted from your PDF is sent to AI models via Puter's API
- You authenticate with your own free Puter account (we do not store credentials)
- Puter's own privacy policy governs how AI providers handle your data
- We do not store or log the text sent to the AI
Cookies
OrizPDF does not use cookies. We may use localStorage to save your theme preference (light/dark mode) if that feature is enabled.
Third-Party Services
Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts. This is the only external request made by the core site. No analytics, tracking, or advertising scripts are loaded.
Data Security
Since your files never leave your device, the security of your data depends on your own device's security. We recommend keeping your browser and operating system up to date.
Children's Privacy
OrizPDF does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Our tools are available to users of all ages.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
