Yes, all tools are 100% free with no hidden fees, premium tiers, or account requirements. We believe everyone should have access to essential PDF tools.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. All PDF processing happens directly in your browser using WebAssembly and JavaScript. Your files never leave your device. We have no servers that receive your documents.
Do I need to create an account?
No account or registration is required. Simply open any tool and start using it immediately. The only exception is the AI Summarizer, which uses your free Puter.com account for AI features.
What file formats are supported?
We support PDF files as the primary format, plus JPG, PNG, WebP images, DOCX (Word), XLSX (Excel), and HTML for conversion tools. Each tool lists its specific supported formats.
Is there a file size limit?
The maximum file size is 100MB per file. This limit exists because processing happens in your browser, and very large files may exceed available memory. Most typical documents are well under this limit.
Does it work on mobile devices?
Yes! OrizPDF works on all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. The interface is fully responsive and touch-friendly.
Can I use OrizPDF for commercial purposes?
Yes. OrizPDF is free for both personal and commercial use. There are no usage limits or restrictions on the type of documents you can process.
How does the AI Summarizer work?
The AI Summarizer extracts text from your PDF and sends it to AI models via Puter.js. Puter.js provides free AI with a user-pays model — you sign in with a free Puter account, and the AI processing is covered by Puter. Your text is sent to the AI provider for analysis but is not stored by OrizPDF.
What browsers are supported?
OrizPDF works on all modern browsers: Chrome 90+, Firefox 88+, Safari 15+, and Edge 90+. We recommend using the latest version of your browser for the best experience.
Is OrizPDF open source?
Yes! OrizPDF is fully open source under the MIT license. You can view the source code, contribute, or self-host it on your own infrastructure.
